General Manger - Retail Sales - Toyota - Al Sayer Group

A Retail Sales Manager plans, directs and monitors operations of Toyota vehicle retail sales, pertaining to marketing, CRM, sales process, sales force, showrooms, delivery centers and stock turn over, for new and certified cars in order to achieve market share, profitability and customer satisfaction objectives within the limits of authority laid down by the Senior Business Director Vehicle Sales.

Duties include:
1. Plan and Direct marketing and commercial activities, such as pricing, product mix, promotions, advertising and sales targets so that agreed profit, sales and market share targets are achieved.
2. Ensure an appropriate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is implemented featuring service response based on customer input, one-to-one solutions to customers’ requirements, tracking clients’ account history and customer behavior trends to increase customer loyalty.
3. Design and monitor implementation of the sales and delivery process and grooming of the sales teams in order to maximize the conversion of potential customers to sales.
4. Ensure that showrooms and delivery centers are properly maintained and space is well allocated, and that appropriate model mix, colors and categories/types of vehicles and accessories are displayed.
5. Ensure the highest level of professional standards at all customer contact points in order to achieve the target customer satisfaction index.
6. Attend to and resolve escalated customer complaints and represent the business at senior level within the customer base to ensure its image is maintained and enhanced.
7. Recommend the product mix and specs to the Senior Business Director for placing orders based on market analysis, customers’ preferences, projected sales volumes sales and optimum stock levels.
8. Plan and direct the acquisition of new and management of existing facilities and equipment of retail sales to meet current and future business needs.
9. Ensure staff compliance with the Group policies and procedures.
10. Represent the Al-Sayer Group and negotiate with principals for matters pertaining to product mix, pricing strategy, marketing and branding and competition.
11. Report periodically on the business performance to management, track business KPIs and budgets, review analysis of activities, costs, operations and sales and data forecasting to determine retail sales progress toward stated goals and objectives, operations cost effectiveness, reduce waste, and take corrective measures as necessary.
12. Maintain knowledge of developments trends and best practices in the area of industry and assure they are incorporated in the future business models of Al-Sayer Group.
