Manager Sales SAP - Al Sayer Group

The Manager’s roles include developing division goals and objectives, managing staff through direct and subordinate managers and supervisors, developing policies and procedures related to division activities, developing and administering division budgets, conducting short and long range planning, and performing related work as required.

His/her responsibilities include:
1. Monitor and direct daily operations to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services are being provided efficiently and effectively; take corrective action as necessary; personally handle the most difficult, sensitive or controversial projects for the organization.
2. Develop and direct the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for assigned division.
3. Approve purchase of equipment and supplies in order to meet operational requirements of the business.
4. Provide for the selection, training, professional development and work evaluation of subordinate staff; makes recommendations on hiring, termination, promotion and discipline as required.
5. Maintain & strengthen rapport with existing suppliers and develop similar relationships with new suppliers ensuring an effective and mutually profitable and beneficial long term relationship.
6. Functional Relationships will include suppliers, customers and External Service Providers.
7. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives regarding pertinent IT activities.
8. Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology.
9. Develop and monitor the division’s budget; oversees financial well-being of the division by analyzing cost effectiveness and directing cost control activities; prepares, submits and justifies budget enhancement requests to the Director.
10. Prioritize and allocate available division resources; reviews and evaluates program and service delivery, makes recommendations for improvement and ensures maximum effective service provision.
11. Plan, organize, administer, review and evaluate the work of subordinate professional, technical, office support and operational staff through subordinate levels of supervision commercial or other purposes without prior written consent of the Management of Dhow Information Systems Co.
12. Foster and develop relationships with product supplier, ensure that the right products are available at the right price at the right time and working with the sales and managements team to up skill staff and ensure information is readily available so that division is able to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
