The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The Business Analyst will track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the unit. Develop, research and produce Wataniya Telecom -wide standard operation processes, work systems and total quality integration for the purpose of improving efficiency, quality, assure profitability and planned growth of Wataniya Telecom.
As a Business Analyst, you will need to be a change-manager - you are the centralized propeller of making the change happen, therefore, you will need to think conceptually, but translate that into practical, tangible results.
Key Accountabilities / Activities:
Assist the department Manager in developing tactical and strategic product, services and/or programs to support the PMO goals.
Assist the department Manager in the continuous improvement, development, implementation and maintenance of business processes and work systems to ensure quality and profitability in line with Wataniya Telecom’s strategy and mission.
Support the centralization and standardization of Wataniya Telecom wide policies and procedures.
Work closely with business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product and/or service business processes.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates.
Interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition, management systems and methodologies required.
Consult with Technology personnel to determine business, functional and technical requirements for specified applications.
Analyze the PMO’s activities and trends and compare analyses against the service standards and best practices. Present findings and work with the department Manager and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.
Qualifications / Requirements:
6 years relevant experience
Strong analytical and product management skills
Knowledge of the Telecom industry would be an advantage
Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, Word etc.
Excellent command of both written and verbal English, Arabic would be an advantage
Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities
