To take the responsibility as a Management Representative for the preparation, accreditation & implementation of company Integrated Management Systems according to the requirements of relevant international standards.
To act as the focal point for improvement in initiatives, particularly in relation to the continual improvement of the systems & procedures governing the management of health, safety, environment & product quality.
To lead and actively participate in regular Management Review Meetings to consider the effectiveness of the systems and procedures by which the company ensures the safety of its employees and those potentially a risk from its acts or omissions and defect free product.
To ensure that internal audits are planned & carried out.
To supervise Quality & HSE Engineers/Officers.
To ensure that near misses are captured & reported from various site locations.
To proactively support that all SPETCO owned and/or operated plant, equipment vehicles are used safely & in accordance with standing instructions.
To perform investigations in the event of system failure, accidents/incidents & to identify corrective &/or preventive action required to be put in place & the implementation thereof.
To proactively support the Quality & Safety Policies and participate in all activities related to the enhancement of the safety of all personnel employed by the company, including but not limited to client and sub-contractor’s personnel & visitors.
To ensure a high level of awareness of the content of the Integrated Management Systems amongst all company employees and the criticality of their adherence to the rules associated with the discharge of their Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities.
