The ERP Project Manager position is responsible for directing the
implementation of our large-scale ERP implementation project. The
typical project size and complexity is a 12 month duration involving up
to 10 multi-disciplined implementation team members across many
countries. Our project is a major strategic investment
for our business transformation project and its successful execution
requires a project manager that is driven, proactive, creative, and
assertive.

• Ability to allocate the correct resources to each project phase and monitor their performance

• Good multitasking skills with the capability to adapt a rapidly changing environment.

• Microsoft SureStep certified
• Implementation of several full life-cycle Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation
• Experience with Microsoft platform of technologies
• ERP implementation lead experience in retail industry
• Pre-sales and project estimation experience
• PMI certified
• Six Sigma certification or training
Key Responsibilities
Project Management (70%):
o Manage high complexity ERP project.
o Provide leadership to all functional and business areas affected by the project.
o Work closely with the implementation partner resources and our resources to ensure adequate allocation of resources to the project.
o Develops and manage detailed project plans, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans
o Drive project decisions and recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation.
o Manages project deliverables, scope & expectations
Communication and Collaboration (25%):
o Proactively communicates and reports status to executives, and all other project stakeholders. This is done leveraging tools such as Status Reports, Executive Briefings, and active day to day team communication.
o Effectively communicates and collaborates with the functional and technical consultants of the project team to achieve project goals.
o Employs project management best practices as provided by PMP/PMI delivery standards.
o Provides leadership to project team members with respect to project management processes and best practices.
Financial Responsibility (5%):
o The Project Manager is directly responsible for managing the project budget providing the predictive financial analysis required to deliver accurate project status.
o The PM will ensure and approve scope delivery and acceptance for every project milestone before issuing payments to the service provider
