Required Application Systems Coordinator IT for M.H. Alshaya Co in Kuwait

Reporting to the IT Manager Kidzania,the Application Systems Coordinator's role is to  support of Application(KidBox)  to ensure the highest standards of Availability.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for the support of Application(KidBox)  to ensure the highest standards of Availability, resilience, integrity, Security and performance required by the business.
Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the Application database and to ensure high availability and optimum performance.
To proactively monitor the systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
Responsible for providing trend analysis to the IT Manager to enable him/her to make decisions regarding resource management.
Responsible for problem escalation to line Manager, if a down time required.
Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the database of the application (KidBox) to include rollout and upgrades upon the approval from Host Brand.
Responsible for implementation and release of database changes submitted by Host Brand
Skills / Experience:
Graduate in Software Engineering
2 yrs of administration experience on any Databases such as Oracle, SQL, Sybase  or MySql
Experience of managing multiple Database Management Systems
Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service.
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
Excellent communication skills
