GUST is looking to recruit qualified Graphic Designer on a full time basis.
Key Role:
- Produce audiovisual assets for the Academic computing website Design multimedia graphical materials which include drawings, pictures, animation and web.
Responsibilities:
• Edit faculty -provided material into production-quality multimedia create preliminary designs, optimize graphical elements embed multimedia in web pages.
• Create multimedia CDs and DVDs Edit multimedia materials: Scan and capture images and drawings, Design drawings & illustrations, Process and edit photos and images
• Create and broadcast multimedia presentations & materials (Plasma) Design & create multimedia animation Set up multimedia equipments (Smart rooms, Labs)
• Perform multimedia tasks (scanning, video, CDs, Plasma) Perform camera shooting Perform all types of Digitization Capture sound, video Process & edit audio and video Assist faculty and staff in regards to digitization and Multimedia related requests
• Organize & maintain multimedia digital library Handle Multimedia request forms Design logos, posters and newsletters
• Contribute to the accreditation process within scope of responsibility
• Maintain a high level of awareness of latest technologies and practices through self directed development
Education:
- A Bachelor degree in Business or any related field.
Experience:
- A maximum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Artistic Sensibility.
- Technical Skill.
- Communication Ability.
- Organization.
- Problem Solving Ability.
- Computer Skills.
- Fluent in English, bilingual is preferred.
